Job Detail
The Export Sales Manager will be working for two parts of the Cathay Group. The Area Sales Manager will sell resins and nonwoven materials for Euroresins, and will sell wholesale stationery and greetings cards for Perkins.
The Export Sales Manager will promote and sell a full range of our products and services optimizing entrepreneurial result in the defined geographical area.
You will be based in Croydon at the Head Office but will be expected to travel throughout Europe. Therefore a driver’s licence is essential.
Salary is £40,000 per annum plus a company car or car allowance, after probation.
Key Tasks
- Maintain and increase current business in the defined geographical area in strong partnership with telesales.
- Ensure full product range is sold to all customers.
- Define and propose sales budget and achieve agreed sales budget.
- Support sales management to create accurate forecast.
- Optimize area potential and actively research for new customers.
- Build and maintain good relationship with customers to enable opportunity for growth.
- Ensure that market information is provided to telesales, purchasing and others.
- Develop action plans
- Ensure product knowledge is up to date.
- Act as a trainer for other internal staff.
- Analyse customer buying patterns.
- Resolve customer complaint handling.
