This includes National Championships, domestic competitions featuring our national teams, and other major events delivered from the head office.You’ll collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the sport, from state and territory hosts to volunteers, sponsors, and officials. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with events experience ready to take the next step in their sporting administration career.Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver national-level softball events across Australia
  • Manage event budgets, reporting and financial processes
  • Coordinate tournament officials, volunteers, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with integrity, safety, and safeguarding policies
  • Oversee event marketing, branding, publications and communications
  • Build strong working relationships with states/territories, venues, and partners
  • Lead event reviews and continuous improvement processes
  • Contribute to strategic planning, facility auditing, and risk management
  • Ensure seamless event experiences for players, fans, and stakeholders

Essential Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an events coordination or similar role
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital tools
  • Current Working with Children Check and Senior First Aid certification
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel as required

Desirable Criteria

  • Qualifications in Sports Administration or related field
  • Experience with sports or softball event delivery
