Additionally, you will be committed to achieving the goals embedded in theAbout the roleThe Events and Engagement Team Lead is a senior role within the Future Students and Engagement division, responsible for the management and delivery of UNEs events and engagement for the external community and internal staff. Reporting to the Manager, Advancement, Alumni and Events, the role includes working with various stakeholders to oversee strategic events and activating relevant communication messages to reflect UNEs positive brand reputation. Using a broad range of resources, the role requires management of the events process from objectives and evaluation through to delivery, assessment and reporting. The successful candidate will access appropriate tools and develop and introduce systems and resources to achieve success for each activity. This role provides leadership and oversight of casual or fixed term staff as required. The successful candidate will support UNEs divisions, faculties, schools, colleges and programs by providing oversight of UNEs engagement and events.About youThe successful candidate will demonstrate event management expertise, coordinating resources, managing timelines and budgets across multiple locations while understanding protocols for senior executives.They will have strategic communication skills enabling effective event activations aligned with university initiatives.Strong stakeholder management capabilities are essential, including representing the organisation and building relationships with diverse stakeholders. This role will lead teams across different locations, guiding a high-performance culture committed to service excellence and their strategic thinking will develop event strategies enhancing UNE’s brand, implementing innovative approaches and identifying improvement opportunities.With organisational awareness of university environments and academic protocols, the successful candidate will maintain knowledge of standards and policies while delivering high-quality events that enhance UNE’s reputation.About the Faculty/GroupThe Future Students and Engagement team integrates Student Liaison, Future Students team, Marketing, Growth, Corporate Communications, Advancement, Alumni and Events into a seamless operation which oversees the prospective student journey from awareness through to enrolment and continues along the Alumna journey.
