Are you ready to join an organization that will help unlock your potential?The role partners with the Advisor & Manager Journey Area as the key stakeholder for all event planning needs and report to the Chief Talent Officer, Equitable Advisor. Secure an on-going calendar of upcoming and repeatable events. Ensures seamless execution and builds processes to ensure a consistent approach to events across all markets.Key Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate all training team virtual centric meetings and trainings (more than 10,000 touchpoints with advisors annually)
- Manage agenda and speakers for 100+ key Advisor & Manager Journey Area events and virtual trainings
- Manage live events held by Advisor & Manager Journey Area
- Responsible for booth and marketing onsite activation
- Create & support a consistent execution of events across both markets and with Advisor & Manager Journey Area Chief of Staff to anticipate upcoming event planning needs
- Partner closely with finance to ensure prudent budget oversight
- Create a streamlined process for all events for the Advisor & Manager Journey Area to ensure an organized approach and timely execution
- Collaborate with team members to help achieve mission OKRs
- Build a strong sense of collaboration and transparency in the team
- Have an open mind to experiment to learn by constantly build hypothesis to test with customers
- Challenge the “status quo” by testing assumptions and asking questions
- Organize travel, virtual schedule and expenses for the Chief Talent Officer
The base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $75,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. - 3-5 years of relevant work experience in event planning &/or administrative assistant
- Self-starting with ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
- Self-starter with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box
- Proficient organizational, budgeting, project management skills
- Highly detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with Zoom and Teams
