Email Marketing Specialist
Communications and Marketing
Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Email Marketing Specialist supports the execution of the university’s communications and marketing strategy. In this role, they will develop and manage all email communications for University Communications and Marketing, while also providing support for the email communication needs of other departments and units.
The Email Marketing Specialist will play a vital role in documenting campaigns and processes, conducting A/B testing, and deploying and scaling marketing automation capabilities. The Email Marketing Specialist will assist leadership in tracking the effectiveness of email communications and other marketing efforts by providing regular analytics reports.
It is essential to note that this position serves as the primary point of contact for emergency email communications, including unscheduled developments such as severe weather alerts or urgent community announcements. As such, availability outside of standard business hours is required.
Proficiency with Emma email marketing platform or an equivalent platform is required.

This position is classified as “exempt, salaried” and is assigned to pay grade 24PREM.
