Job description: Alpha English Academy is a leading provider of English language and educational services, dedicated to supporting international and domestic learners through high-quality programs. We are seeking an Education Project Officer to join our Academic Team, assisting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education projects, including the development and management of programs.Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of international study tours, local excursion-based teaching projects, and vocational English camps.
  • Collaborate with the Academic Team and industry instructors to design vocational English modules aligned with subsequent VET course requirements.
  • Liaise with partners (institutions, travel providers, industry bodies) to secure placements, guest speakers, and practical venues.
  • Manage logistics: accommodation, transportation, visas, insurance, and itinerary details to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets, process invoices, and report financial status to maintain cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with education regulations, visa requirements, and safety policies; conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
  • Maintain communication with internal departments (academic, marketing, student services, finance, legal) and external stakeholders (agents, partner institutions, industry associations, tourism operators) to coordinate resources.
  • Maintain project documentation (proposals, contracts, risk registers, itineraries, evaluation reports) and provide administrative support such as meeting scheduling and minutes.
  • Design and implement project evaluations: collect feedback, analyse outcomes, and propose improvements.
  • Support marketing efforts by assisting in promotional material creation and briefing sessions to help recruitment teams target appropriate markets.
  • Organize pre-departure and on-site briefings covering cultural adaptation, health and safety, and language expectations to ensure timely information flow.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on project progress, budget status, risks, and student feedback, and recommend optimization strategies.

What we want:
Applicants must address the following essential criteria in their application:
A qualification in education or a related field at AQF Diploma/Advanced Diploma level or higher.
At least 3 years of recent experience in project or program administration, preferably within the education sector or a similar service industry.
Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferably bilingual or multilingual background, able to adapt to a work environment with international students.
Understanding of Australian education and international student regulations is desirable; prior exposure to study tour logistics and visa processes will be an advantage.
