Role Purpose :
We are seeking a high energy, self-starter to join our Global Partner Marketing team to drive our technology alliances marketing strategy and team. In this role you will be a player coach managing a team of alliance managers and alliance marketing managers to onboard, manage, and market with the most strategic alliance partners and OEM partners in the Wasabi Partner Network. You will help accelerate Wasabi’s Go-to-Market Strategy with partners who have complementary technologies to Wasabi hot cloud storage in the areas of data protection backup and archiving, video surveillance, and media archiving and storage in either an OEM or meet-in-channel sales strategy.
As a champion for our partners, you will drive the team that prioritizes high-value partners that drive revenue and create the joint messaging, value proposition, and sales enablement content positioning Wasabi as a key differentiator and growth too targeting end-customers, channel partners, and alliance sellers. This role reports to the SVP Global Partner Marketing. All roles are currently work from home with the ability to join the team for occasional meetings in the office as planned.

Responsibilities:
– Drive the strategy to accelerate Wasabi revenue with Technology Alliance and OEM partners.
– Manage a team of global alliance marketers and alliance managers as well as be the primary contact for specific alliances.
– Work to drive the annual marketing plans with key strategic OEM partners that are powered by Wasabi.
– Work to drive business plan targets and annual marketing plans with key alliance and OEM partners in the Backup, Recovery and Archive, Media and Entertainment, Infrastructure, and Physical Security/Surveillance spaces to drive sales, pipeline and channel engagement.
– Work closely with marketing and channel sales stakeholders to facilitate recruitment, onboarding, channel engagement and marketing strategy.
– Create, execute and report on joint marketing plans with key partners that include activities such as events, training, and content creation including blogs, social media posts, case studies, solution briefs and other key assets.
– Set goals and objectives and report quarterly on joint campaign metrics and ROI.
– Communicate Wasabi value propositions at sponsored engagements, meetings and events.
– Other related projects and programs as needed.
Requirements:
– 10+ years of marketing, communications, channel and alliances experience.
– Strong understanding of storage and associated use cases and ecosystem.
– Understanding of partner go to market strategies including OEM, and sell through channel partners.
– Ability to understand and leverage Technology Alliance Partner solutions to educate and enable channel sales teams and create pull through demand.
– Ability to work in hyper growth scale up environment with ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
– Comfortable with a fast-paced remote working environment, the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
– Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to various business needs in the partner ecosystem.
– Experience with project management tools (Asana), and CRM ( Salesforce) and marketing automation (HubSpot) a plus.
