Marmon Industrial Water designs and manufactures water and wastewater treatment equipment solutions, under the brand names Graver Water Systems and Ecodyne. Our technologies included raw water pretreatment, degasification, hot lime softening, boiler make-up, condensate polishing, wastewater treatment, cooling, and oil/water separation for markets such as petrochemical/chemical, power generation and heavy industrial plants.

Marmon Industrial Water is currently seeking a Director, Strategic Marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses the knowledge, skills and experience required to manage, develop, and implement marketing strategies for our social media channels, attract potential customers and nurture existing relationships resulting in lead generation through conversion.

This position can be based at our Burlington, Ontario or Warren, New Jersey locations.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Marketing Management Plan (SMM) activities, partnering with Business Leaders and Corporate resources. 
  • Manage a pricing strategy that maximizes profits and optimize market share. Drive strategic pricing activities with Sales Team.
  • Prepare marketing strategies alongside other company executives and staff.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
  • Prepare and adhere to budgets.
  • Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure brand messages are consistent.
  • Gather and analyze customer insight (Voice of Customer).
  • Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms.
  • Take calculated risks based on data-driven analytics.
  • Collaborate with sales and sourcing to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities.
  • Create a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the overall marketing and business objectives, partnering with outside resources as appropriate.
  • Closely monitor the performance of social media campaigns and use analytics to measure lead generation metrics.
  • Partner with other internal teams to help drive internal communication activities which align with business priorities.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices for social media marketing.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business and other related fields. 
  • 7+ Years in Marketing role, proven ability to lead Marketing initiatives.
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Experience with creating a marketing campaign, marketing strategy, and marketing plan
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Experience with industrial water-related products a plus.
