The Role 

The Director Product Marketing will drive the Go-To-Market process and tell the stories that drive the adoption of our strategic initiatives, products, programs, and services. This highly visible role will lead product marketing and sit at the intersection of industry, competition, and our clients.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute Go-To-Market plans and strategy: collaborate with Business and Product teams on product value proposition, communication strategy, naming, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Product Marketing Music to deliver clear and compelling product positioning and messaging for a majority of AXS core products. Supporting high profile prospect and client engagements with product expertise and storytelling.
  • Conduct market research and establish metrics to measure product performance. Works closely with Industry stakeholders, Sports and Arenas Division stakeholders, Customer Service, Incident Management, Marketing, Data, Legal, Finance, and Project Management to ensure Sports and Arena’s clients’ needs are understood, defined, and properly executed.
  • Work with Ticketing Strategy, UXD, Product and stakeholders to create and maintain presentations, case studies competitive analyses, and collateral for Sales enablement. Ensure all are used effectively and efficiently to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Work directly with our clients to understand how they run their businesses and how our products can help them exceed their business objectives.
  • Undertake any other relevant, reasonable duties requested by VP, Ticketing Strategy Sports and Arenas as well as members of the Sports and Arenas Leadership team.

What you will bring 

  • 6-8 years of business experience in the live entertainment space, ticketing, or sports.
  • 3+ Product Marketing Management, B2B Software Marketing, or Mobile Applications and Social Networks.
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) MBA preferred.
  • Global marketing experience and knowledge is preferred.
  • Attested experience constructing marketing plans encompassing strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, pricing, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest industry trends and ticketing innovation through continuous learning, discovery, and research by attending industry conferences, meeting with clients, keeping current with industry trade publications, and networking.
  • Ability to back up strategic insights with market evidence. Leverage the power of data to improve upon product and marketing recommendations as well as long term planning decisions.
  • An understanding of the live entertainment industry and how clients run their business in order to help them exceed their business objectives.
  • Strong PowerPoint / presentation skills, and an ability to adjust to the variety of audiences needed to influence.
  • Extensive experience of guiding, coaching, and driving teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Support high profile sales and client engagements with product expertise and storytelling.
  • Team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment.
  • 5-10 days of travel a month may be required.

 

Pay Scale: $103,577-$156,935
