China World Hotel, Beijing is ideally located in Beijing’s central business district (CBD) and is attached to one of the largest malls in Beijing, the China World Mall.
The hotel is the gateway to your historical exploration of the capital city, such as the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, hutongs, Houhai Bar Street, Jing Shan, Qianmen and Beihai Park.
Guests have direct access from the hotel to China World Mall and Guomao subway lines 1 and 10 interchange station. China World Mall has indoor skating rinks, foreign-language bookstores, cinemas and over 90 restaurants covering the gamut of urban lifestyle interests – trendy cuisine, shopping, entertainment and other fun activities.
It is also about 35-minute drive from Beijing Capital International Airport.
We are looking for Director of Sales & Marketing
As Director of Sales & Marketing, we rely on you to:
Lead & Direct Marketing Programs and activities of the hotel
Maintain awareness of current and future competitors’ product, pricing and marketing programs so as to be in a position to proactively respond to market conditions
Implement the Marketing policies and procedures of the hotel and of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts
Direct and coordinate the activities of the sales, catering, meeting services, reservations marketing services and communications staff to maximize and revenues
Maintain accurate tracking of business sources and pattern to facilitate analysis of situations and development of plans
To prioritize marketing support according to pre-vailing and anticipated market conditions by all allocating resources and funds against areas which will provide the hotel with the most efficient revenue performance
Build positive working relationships with all departments of the hotel, assure understanding of Marketing programs and the wants, needs, and expectations of customers / guests
We are looking for someone who:
Has a passion for Sales and Marketing

Enjoys crafting creative and best-fit solutions
Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
Has relevant experience in a similar role
Understands the global market and local environment
Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
Has strong interpersonal skills
