Based at our Melbourne CBD Head Office, with regular time at the propertyAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Director of Sales to lead the sales strategy for Lancemore Hill at Macedon Ranges—a 72-room boutique property purpose-built for corporate retreats, conferences, and events.Surrounded by rolling hills and natural bushland just over an hour from Melbourne, this property combines nature, comfort, and connection—making it a top choice for business events and team experiences. With its dedicated conference facilities, adaptable spaces, and boutique accommodation, it offers a compelling product to take to market.About the Role
Balancing your time between the property and our Melbourne Head Office, you’ll be responsible for:Driving Sales & Growth: Generate leads, secure new business, and deliver against revenue targetsBuilding Key Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client connections across corporate, MICE, and agency marketsMarketing & Promotion: Contribute to campaigns, attend industry events, and conduct site inspections and familsSales Negotiation & Conversion: Craft proposals, negotiate contracts, and convert opportunitiesPerformance & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and refine strategies to optimise resultsAbout YouProven experience in a Director of Sales, or Sales Management role (MICE/hospitality experience essential)Established networks across Melbourne’s corporate and conference marketsResults-focused with a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIsSkilled negotiator with strong commercial acumen and strategic thinkingExcellent relationship management and client service skillsStrong communication—written, verbal, and interpersonalMotivated and proactive, with a positive, team-first approachPassion for boutique hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiencesAbout UsFounded in 1986, The Lancemore Group is a leading Australian boutique lifestyle brand and pioneer in boutique hotels and residential conferencing.Our hotels offer boutique accommodation, meetings & events, wellness spas, award-winning restaurants, and acclaimed wines.We are proudly family-owned, combining the operational scale of a larger group with the spirit of a hands-on, independent business.
