HELP BUILD A WORLD-CLASS PRODUCT MARKETING FUNCTION

Our Growth Squad’s mission is to help propel and advance Sisense’s growing product portfolio and drive interest in our product. As our Director of Product Marketing, you will lead the efforts around defining our product strategy, core product messaging to user personas, and develop GTM plans and ensure successful execution. You will work closely with leadership across Product, Marketing and Sales to optimize our campaigns and messaging, support new product releases and work to sell our analytic products and platform across multiple personas.

This role will work East Coast hours, and highly prefers an ET/CT based candidate as a result.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading PLG strategies with a growth mindset
  • Develop a comprehensive product strategy and vision for our existing and future products
  • Conducting market research to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Develop product positioning and messaging strategies
  • Oversee the creation of product marketing materials such as product sheets, case studies, and presentations to communicate product features and benefits effectively.
  • Present in webinars and other public event forums to evangelize Sisense product capabilities and customer value
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product management, sales, and engineering to drive product launches and updates
  • Developing and executing go-to-market plans to increase product adoption and revenue
  • Analyzing product performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

HOW YOU’LL RAMP: 

By Day 30…

  • You’ve learned the basics of the product and our messaging so you can speak to it with confidence
  • You’ve met with the key leaders that impact the product marketing function, amongst others
  • You’ve identified pain points and gaps in our sales and marketing collateral for your specific domain

By Day 60…

  • You’ve worked with leadership to begin creating and executing plans across marketing and sales enablement
  • You’ve worked with the broader marketing team to improve and apply our messaging framework to level up existing sales and marketing collateral
  • You’re closely aligned with your product management counterparts to understand and influence the product roadmap with valuable user insights

By Day 90…

  • You’ll have supported at least one product release and continue to create best practices to drive execution excellence
  • You’ll be in lockstep with teams across the company providing valuable insights about users internally and creating valuable content for users externally 
  • You’ll be working closely with our sales team to infuse insights about your users and product domain throughout the sales cycle
  • You feel at home engaging in both inbound and outbound activities – from deep dives into API design to leading webinars, meetups, and workshops.

  • You’ve proven you have the ability to help lead a team through a strategic shift
  • You’ve translated complex technical concepts into value-driven, easy-to-consume messages just as easily as you translate customer pain points into technical feature needs
  • You’ve lead teams of product marketing professionals while staying excited about being hands on
  • You’re a doer that sees a problem and brings solutions to the table that you are ready to execute
  • You’ve worked cross-functionally on product launches and have established go-to-market best practices at a rapid pace
  • You are customer obsessed – just like us
  • The Sales and Product teams you’ve worked with rave about your collateral. 
  • An expert storyteller who leverages data and user insights to craft compelling narratives.
  • A strong collaborator with proven success in driving initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • You’re skilled at transforming the company’s vision into an actionable marketing plan and executing it. You know how to run and manage a project, set deadlines, and keep them.
  • You have a portfolio of innovative marketing programs that have successfully driven awareness, adoption, growth, and retention.
  • You’re data-driven, and you have experience in making data-based decisions that impact products and users.
  • You’re flexible and you love working in a fast-paced, energetic, and dynamic environment.
