CWI is looking for an Innovative, committed individual to join our team and modernize our marketing department as the Director of Corporate Marketing. Ideally the position will be hybrid remote from one of our locations. The Director of Corporate marketing will be responsible for researching and developing strategies that identify opportunities and new project development. Direct and oversee the company’s marketing function to identify and develop new customers, new products, and new services. Plans and develops marketing and public relations policies designed to improve company image and relations with customers, employees, and public. Promote the company and its products in industry, manufacturing, and/or trade organizations.
The Director of Corporate Marketing is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of marketing personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Develops employees for future advancement when possible.
Provides input to Corporate and Divisional Management with respect to requirements for annual operating budget. Establishes, plans and operates within the annual financial budget. Negotiates with and supports the President to allocate resources required for completing all approved projects.
· Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated team building and leadership skills. Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.
· Key Champion of the product roadmap and willing to take risks while balancing the needs of innovation with the demands of the current marketplace and profit requirements.
· Skilled at attacking problems and projects with drive and energy and an eye on both quality and the bottom line. Can initiate action before all facts or approvals are available if needed and driven to close everything that they start.
· Business related computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, company’s computer programs and spreadsheets.
Requirements of the Director of Corporate Marketing position include:
· Able to combine creativity with long term sales and marketing vision to bring exciting new products to market. Timely decision maker, able to prioritize critical tasks that add the highest value. Effective at knowing what to measure to track progress, know how to design effective and efficient sales processes.
· Proven track record of success as it relates to the full lifecycle of products, including development, launch, and revenue success. Manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred. Will consider combination on Bachelor’s degree and experience. Experience in new business development activities, including customer interaction, acquisition, and procurement processes, competitive assessment, and strategic planning.
· Five years of experience in a marketing position with management responsibility.
· Maintains a valid Driver’s License and Passport.
· Experience with ISO/AS operations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
This position requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed.
