Job Purpose and Overview
Appfire is looking for an experienced Director of Channel Marketing to join our fast-growing team. At Appfire, our Channel Partners represent our largest growth lever as they generate the majority of our revenue. As such, this high visibility, leadership role provides an outsized opportunity to impact the business. The Director of Channel Marketing will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across channel management and marketing to innovate, develop, and execute effective partner marketing strategies that align with business objectives. What you will do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel marketing strategy aligned with the overall marketing and business goals
- Develop to-partner, through-partner, and co-marketing campaigns, programs, and assets to enable partners to effectively market and sell our products and solutions
- Deeply understand partners’ business and key priorities to identify mutual beneficial opportunities to co-create programs, initiatives and thought leadership that increases awareness of our expanding footprint
- Create and manage channel event strategy and oversee event execution efforts
- Provide guidance and support to partners on joint marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging, branding, and execution
- Collaborate with partners to plan and execute joint marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and other demand generation activities
- Manage channel marketing budget; create, launch and manage MDF program
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and establish globally aligned channel and marketing plans with shared KPIs
- Collaborate with channel management, marketing, and marketplace teams to identify target partner segments, market opportunities, and joint marketing objectives
- Manage and grow direct report(s)
- Maintain a master calendar of partner activities that includes key events, webinars, thought leadership, press releases/announcements, customer stories, enablements, etc.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of channel marketing programs and initiatives, measure and analyze channel marketing performance, including lead generation, partner activation, solution adoption, and revenue impact
- Serve as liaison between channel and marketing organizations, ensuring alignment on strategy, messaging, content creation, and overall channel marketing initiatives
What we would like to see
- 10+ years channel marketing experience, with a track record of creating engaging channel marketing programs and campaigns that drive increased revenue and achieve business results
- Experience building, executing and scaling complex marketing programs, including overseeing the end-to-end strategy and coordinating the successful launch across multiple channels and/or audiences
- Experience with B2B tech channel sales programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment of cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact with senior-level management, internally and externally
- Highly-organized and detail-oriented team player and leader
