Job description: Job Description: Director of Brand MarketingThe Director of Brand Marketing will lead the development and execution of brand strategy, marketing campaigns, and go-to-market plans across our portfolio of nutrition and wellness products. This is a highly cross-functional and hands-on leadership role that requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and a passion for building brands with purpose. You will oversee a small but growing team, manage agency partners, and drive impactful work across DTC and retail channels, social media, PR, events, and influencer marketing.Job Summary and General Duties:Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Own and evolve the overarching brand strategy, positioning, and architecture for all brands and products, ensuring a unified voice across DTC, retail, and digital.
- Translate strategy into 360 marketing plans that drive awareness, consideration, and household penetration.
- Develop breakthrough brand campaigns and partnerships that build cultural relevance and deepen consumer connection.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Finance to inform on product architecture strategy, ensuring formats and pricing align with consumer needs.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Lead cross-functional go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, monthly and seasonal campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
- Align brand messaging across creative, product, digital, and sales teams.
- Manage and optimize brand marketing budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and ROI targets.
- Develop and manage the integrated marketing calendar, including cross-functional timelines and channel alignment.
Creative, Content, and Social Media
- Work with the Creative team to develop and oversee brand look, feel, and voice across all creative assets and channels.
- Guide the strategic vision and execution of organic and social media strategy, influencer marketing, and content creation, in collaboration with internal teams and agency partners.
Experiential & Events
- Lead brand-building events, sampling programs, and experiential activations that bring the brand to life in culturally relevant and engaging ways.
- Collaborate cross functionally to forecast campaign performance, assess ROI, and inform future brand investments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution and integrated amplification.
Earned and Paid Media
- Lead the development and execution of traditional paid media strategies (TV, radio, print, out-of-home), ensuring alignment with brand objectives, target audience insights, and integrated campaign plans.
- Own the PR strategy and manage day-to-day execution, including collaboration with PR agencies, development of messaging and press materials, and identification of media opportunities.
- Monitor media coverage and deliver insights, reports, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Leadership & Development
- Manage and collaborate with external agency partners (creative, media, PR, influencer) to ensure alignment with brand strategy and campaign goals.
- Lead and develop a high-performing internal teams.
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Drive collaboration across product, digital, social, retention, creative, sales, and R&D teams.
Analytics & Insights
- Use consumer insights, competitive analysis, and performance data to inform decision-making, optimize campaigns, and identify brand growth opportunities.
- Define, track, and report on key brand health metrics.
- Collaborate cross functionally to forecast campaign performance, assess ROI, and inform future brand investments.

- 8-10 years of progressive experience in brand marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role at a CPG, functional beverage, nutrition, or wellness-focused company.
- Proven success building and scaling omnichannel brands across DTC, retail, and digital ecosystems.
- Strong experience leading social media, influencer marketing, PR, and experiential programs.
- Hands-on experience launching new products and executing GTM plans.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and high-performing talent.
- Strong creative eye and copy writing ability to collaborate with internal and external creative teams.
- Data-driven and highly analytical, with strong business acumen.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for health, wellness, and consumer-first brand building.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and a desire to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
