Director Market Access Marketing responsible for the development and execution and tactics for Grifols Biopharma portfolio Market Access customers. This position is responsible for consistent implementation of access promotional strategies, identifying customer & competitive insights, and evolving the portfolio value proposition and supporting deliverables accordingly to ensure optimal impact.
Core Responsibilities Include

Lead Market Access marketing strategic and tactical execution including delivery of market access promotional tactics

Manage the end-to-end development of customer facing and multichannel marketing promotional interventions (message platforms, educational programs, conference materials, promotional campaigns, training materials, etc.) to support the overall brand strategy and corporate objectives with market access customers

Partner with stakeholders to identify brand-specific pull through opportunities and ensure a clear understanding of the competitive access environment

Contribute to annual brand planning, forecasting, and budgeting process for market access customer segment

Partner with brand teams to expand key initiatives and strategies to the managed markets customer base, which consists of payers, GPOs, integrated health systems, specialty pharmacies, physician groups and channel partners

Develop success metrics and measurements for market access initiatives and programs utilizing available data, survey tools, and industry benchmarking

Regularly attend industry meeting and builds high-level customer relationships to enhance the efforts of the market access teams

Management of copay and coinsurance programs that provide patient cost-sharing assistance

Bachelor’s Degree
-
12+ or more years’ experience in biopharmaceutical or a combination of experience in related areas such as healthcare sales, market access, provider marketing, or patient access.

Knowledge and understanding of market access customers and the complex dynamics affecting the industry trends

Understanding of US payer market dynamics and how managed care organizations make decisions across commercial and public channels
-
Knowledge across multiple market access channels including payer, PBM, IDN, distribution, specialty pharmacy, GPOs

Experience with commercial brand planning process

Analytical capabilities to ensure robust inputs to decision-making

Working knowledge of legal, financial, government, manufacturing, regulatory and commercial practices within the biopharmaceutical industry
Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation), interpersonal influencing and prioritization skills required with proven ability to influence across matrixed organizations including influencing without authority

Proven learning agility with a high level of motivation and a strong ability to find solutions to challenging, unstructured situations

Experience in developing segment specific marketing insights and incorporating the market access into the brand/strategic planning process

Ability to combine data analysis with qualitative insights to identify and explain market access, brand and above-brand drivers of business performance

Proven ability to operate independently and handle multiple projects with a high degree of initiative including project planning and prioritization of competing demands

Experience developing and managing promotional budgets

Experience managing third-party vendors

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 4-6 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of one hand with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 35lbs. Frequently drives, flys or takes other forms of transportation to site locations and travels within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Plans work assignments to meet objectives.
