The Role: Digital Marketing Strategist

The Digital Marketing Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies, analyzing user, website, and channel data, and measuring the effectiveness of digital initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics such as SEO, SEM, paid channels, email marketing, web analytics, and content creation.

Highlights of your role:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define digital customer journeys and create necessary assets (landing page content, forms, etc.) to meet their goals.
  • Recommend and oversee website and campaign optimizations across audiences, media mix, content, and other factors based on interpretation of data and analytics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and digital team, influencing stakeholders by providing data-driven recommendations and insights.
  • Consult and deliver recommendations for website architecture, onsite and offsite optimization, local marketing, PPC, content creation and paid media.
  • Spearhead digital problem-solving initiatives, including identifying issues with underperforming digital marketing strategies and website content, evaluating options, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Partner with the Marketing Analytics Manager to leverage analytics data in identifying areas for innovation and optimization.
  • Create and deliver digital recommendations and presentations to educate internal stakeholders on ‘the why’ behind digital optimization opportunities and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of reporting benchmarks and dashboards, evaluating digital performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), and deriving actionable insights.
  • Educate internal partners on current state of digital marketing and ensure all are unified on solutions, strategy, and messaging.
  • Challenge the status quo when necessary and influence innovation and investment in emerging digital capabilities that will position S&P Global Mobility as a market leader.
  • Strong leadership and consensus-building skills, coupled with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

You’re a good fit if you have:

  • 5+ years in SEO/Internet Marketing/Content Marketing/Digital Marketing.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Search and SEM.
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, analytics, or related field. Experience in working with technical team members (i.e. product owners and developers) to execute marketing activities.
  • Working knowledge of the entire marketing funnel and how owned and paid digital tactics work together.
  • Skilled in using, reading, and analyzing information in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, LinkedIn Ad, and AdWords.
  • Strong leadership and consensus-building skills, coupled with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Demonstrates a curiosity for, and an ability to, rapidly learn new concepts and acquire new skills. Demonstrated experience in developing and leading data-driven, strategic marketing plans that can be translated into actionable marketing plans that produce measurable results.
  • Experience in working with technical team members (i.e. product owners and developers) to execute web projects and campaigns.
