ABOUT YOU

You are a highly motivated and creative self-starter with a passion for digital marketing, coupled with proven expertise in designing and implementing marketing programs for online channels. You have experience enhancing an organization’s online presence through strategic planning, email and content marketing campaigns, website design, social media, SEO, etc.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will contribute to the company’s overall marketing and communications strategy through the development and implementation of digital marketing programs. You will ensure that all digital marketing efforts are efficient and effective in achieving awareness, engagement and revenue. Other responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan
• Contacting and qualifying leads for the sales team
• Execution of literature mailings (Constant Contact) and prospect qualification
• Maintaining the CRM system with new contacts, products, marketing material etc.
• Maintaining up to date, expert-level knowledge of all products
• Coordinating promotions from suppliers and tailoring them to the Canadian market
• Planning for seminars, tradeshows, and other industry functions
• Designing data sheets, brochures, and other marketing materials
• Maintaining and update the company website with new and revised information
• Creating and placing advertisements in industry publications
• Managing social media channels
• Preparing performance reports for management (SEO, SEM, Google Ads etc.)
• Other marketing/sales functions, as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• College Diploma or University Degree in Marketing
• 5-10 years’ experience in a related role
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc.)
• Fluency in English mandatory and French considered to be a strong asset
• Must possess strong interpersonal/team skills
