Digital Marketing Manager – Automation

We’re on the hunt for a Digital Marketing champion who’s ready to make change happen. If you are a driven, detail-oriented, small and big picture thinker with strong analytical, creative and project management skills, we want to hear from you.

Your role will be to manage our end-to-end marketing automation including emails, nurture campaigns, tracking, forms, segmentation lists, lead scoring/grading, demand waterfall workflows, data analysis and visualization.

Day to day, you’ll be responsible for facilitating automation programs, translating data into insights, implementing new tactics and approaches to drive engagement and conversion. You’ll be working alongside other changemakers in our firm to elevate marketing programs, build automated efficiency and power marketing precision with actionable insight.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing our marketing automation, conversational marketing (chat and email) and analytics.

YOU WILL:

  • Conversational Marketing:
  • Manage the end-to-end email process for Marketing campaigns:
  • Develop, manage and optimize segmentation lists
  • Define and manage email workflows, including automation logic/rules, scoring, multi-touch nurtures, and reporting
  • Develop and manage engagement studio(s) for single or multiple email sends
  • Build testing frameworks for ongoing optimization of opens, click-throughs and conversion rates
  • Uncover insights from past sends to guide higher impact campaigns
  • Perform ongoing quality control and asset proofing procedures
  • Deploy emails and track performance
  • Oversee and continuously improve email preference center
  • Drive email marketing improvements with automation, standardization, performance analysis and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Guide the creative direction of email templates, banners, graphics, etc., and develop new templates as needed
  • Collaborate with other marketers to develop campaigns, supporting email copyrighting development as needed
  • Ensure program compliance with GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM and other global data privacy and email regulations
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve web chatbot content for better engagement, ensure data integration, and smooth pass off to sales
  • Automation and lead management:
  • Execute and advise on automation requirements and implementation
  • Continuously improve lead scoring and grading models based on analysis
  • Audit and streamline automation rules for efficiency and performance
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web forms ensuring compliance and optimal completion rates
  • Oversee lead assignment/pipeline entry process
  • Manage marketing automation prospect database synced to Salesforce
  • Marketing analytics and insights:
  • Setup campaigns and reporting in Salesforce and/or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Analytics Studio for marketing initiatives
  • Compile, analyze, and visualize data to inform improvements
  • Provide regular reporting analysis of all marketing initiatives along with recommendations for improvement to key stakeholders
  • Establish closed-loop analytics to track MQLs and leads
  • Work with agency partners as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?

While we hope you’ll do a lot of learning and growing with us, there are a few things we would love to see from you. We are looking for you to bring your digital chops, analytics know-how, and program management acumen.

  • Experience. 5-8+ years’ experience in digital marketing, with expert knowledge of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (previously known as Pardot) or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Data-driven problem solver. Ability to find the “aha moments” in data to evolve the digital experience and increase conversions. Use of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, and Looker Studio is a must. You’ll monitor demand metrics and partner with Digital marketing leadership to assess underlying drivers to optimize performance and share results with other stakeholders using clear and compelling storytelling.
  • Passion and expertise in digital. You’ll be our firm expert in all things automation using your insight to improve customer experience and demand generation programs. You will be empowered to keep your skills fresh by staying current on the latest digital marketing trends. You find opportunities where others see challenges.
  • Accountability and project management. Our digital marketer will keep projects on track, proactively communicate status, manage time wisely and keep an eye on the details. Consider both the immediate ask with an eye to the big picture. This individual will have exceptional people, writing, presentation, and communications skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field with strong digital emphasis/interest. This must be from an accredited college or university. Professional certificates from Pardot, Google, and other reputable digital marketing institutions are bonuses.
