Digital Marketing Automation Manager

Fitch Group Digital Marketing team is currently seeking a Marketing Automation Manager based out of our London office.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with expertise in Marketo to oversee various aspects of marketing automation, including landing page builds, form strategy, reporting, UAT, and user support. Your primary focus will be on utilizing Marketo to drive successful campaigns, ensuring data accuracy, optimizing workflows, and providing excellent user support. You will also be required to provide web support in the team using CMS platforms (eg Drupal/Contentful) and have a strong proficiency in HTML.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Work with the Campaigns team and wider Marketing teams, drive the creation, execution, and management of marketing campaigns in Marketo. This includes developing campaign strategies, creating landing pages, setting up forms, and email templates, to facilitate effective marketing strategy at scale by wider Marketing and Campaigns teams using Marketo.
  • Create, test and optimize campaign landing pages to improve KPIs
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of marketing automation processes in Marketo, including data integrations, webform-based failures, and other issues. Identify and resolve any problems to ensure smooth campaign execution.
  • Thorough analysis to provide insights and recommendations for strategic approaches
  • Provide support with troubleshooting issues and guidance on best practice. Develop and deliver training materials to enhance the knowledge and skills of Marketo users.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to create visually appealing and responsive email templates and website landing pages. Provide ongoing support for template-related issues and ensure brand consistency.
  • Optimize and streamline marketing automation workflows, including lead nurturing, lead scoring, and drip campaigns.
  • Implement advanced scripting techniques, such as Velocity, to support complex use cases.
  • Utilize JavaScript, HTML, Python (for data extraction) and CSS to ensure a successful configuration, implementation, and maintenance of all marketing programs within Marketo
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Marketo by maintaining data hygiene practices, managing data integrations, and adhering to governance guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest Marketo features and functionalities, identify opportunities for process improvement, and assist in system upgrades and integrations.
  • Utilize CMS platforms to support growing demand on our global Website team across Fitch Group domains
  • Support events team with Splash platform- as well as forms, event landing pages, social, etc.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Marketo
  • Proven experience in UAT, troubleshooting, and resolving data-related issues in Marketo
  • Solid understanding of campaign management, including strategy development, page creation, form usage, and email template creation
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Python and Velocity
  • Must have knowledge of website CMS platforms such as Drupal/Contentful
  • Digital savvy, with proven experience in web content/digital marketing role – some prior hands-on CMS and HTML experience is a must
  • Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and generating reports to inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide user support and training
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Innovative and proactive in identifying new Marketo and web content opportunities and marketing strategies, upskilling the team and building tech capacity within the Digital Marketing team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of data management best practices and governance guidelines within Marketo
  • Self-starter, proactivity and hands-on in driving strategies and supporting teams

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce integration within campaign automation (preferable)
  • Experience of working with Splash
