Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.
You will be based in our London office and will be part of our Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice. The practice strives to help clients in both consumer and business-to-business environments on a wide variety of marketing and sales topics, and its mission is to help clients achieve marketing-driven profit growth.
In this role you’ll focus on developing marketing and sales strategies for leading companies of all major industries, including consumer goods, financial services, retail, telecommunications, global energy & materials, and AI. Our clients benefit from our experience in core areas of marketing such as branding, pricing, customer experience, customer lifecycle management, customer insights, marketing ROI, digital marketing, insights & analytics, and sales & channel management.
On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with colleagues from around the world as well as outside of the Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice to help leading organizations solve their most complex problems. From day one you will be exposed to senior McKinsey leaders and executive level clients, and will also have the opportunity to work on projects outside of the digital marketing space.
Working hand-in-hand with clients from all major industries will be at the core of your responsibilities. You will deliver real impact by helping clients transform their marketing strategy and operations to power growth through digital expertise. In this role you’ll support top organizations to leverage digital to deepen their connection with customers and to drive revenue growth quickly. This digital expertise can cut across campaigning, journey optimization, personalization, technology (MarTech/AdTech) and data/measurements.
As an Associate, you will have an opportunity to build on your previous experience and as well as explore growth, marketing & sales topics that are new to you. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on your teams. You will have a partner assigned to you to help navigate your career as well as up to five weeks of formal training in your first two years with McKinsey. Additionally, you’ll receive guidance and support from your professional development team in the selection of client projects, helping you develop your skills and build your network.
You will:
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture – doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we’ll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you’ll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
