With over 200 new apartments and multiple commercial projects on the go, they’ve created a new role for a Development & Projects Coordinator to work alongside the Director and help drive projects from concept through to completion.This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days will be the same. You’ll be just as comfortable attending a site inspection as you are coordinating consultants, tracking deliverables, or supporting a marketing campaign. For the right person, this is a rare opportunity to work across every aspect of the development lifecycle — and contribute to projects that genuinely aim to do things differently.Your support will be key to helping apartments sell and settle smoothly — from coordinating with agents to contributing to a great customer handover experience. The student accommodation business sits within the same group — under one Director — so your support across both arms of the organisation is essential and valued.Key Outcomes of the RoleCoordinate project consultants — including architects, engineers, planners and buildersTrack development timelines, approval pathways and deliverablesAttend and document site meetings and inspections, and follow up actionsAssist with builder liaison and defect rectification processesManage calendars, coordinate meetings, and support with project administrationProvide support to marketing and sales efforts (e.g. scheduling inspections, client updates)Assist with student accommodation turnover or leasing peaks as neededSupport the apartment sales journey by liaising with sales agents, coordinating settlements, and ensuring a seamless experience for buyers and stakeholdersStep in to support our student accommodation business as needed, particularly during high-volume leasing or turnover periodsAbout YouTo excel in this role, you will bring:Previous experience in property, construction, or project coordinationExcellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detailThe ability to manage competing tasks and communicate effectivelyA proactive mindset — you’re solutions-focused and quick to adaptA commercial understanding — you’re not in sales, but you get why selling mattersWillingness to pitch in across admin, site-based tasks, and client-facing activitiesA valid driver’s licence (preferred)About Our ClientBarrio Developments is not your average developer.
