The team’s goal is to support and advise our Sales Team on how they can use data and insights to maximise advertising sales across our digital assets – including nine.com.au, 9Now, 9Honey, Pedestrian.TV, Metro Mastheads, Digital Audio, and subscription video platform Stan.The experienced team will mentor and train you to become a ‘Data Expert’. You will learn how data can be used to better reach our audiences across Nine’s digital network. You will develop critical skills to effectively translate and communicate the complex world of data in a way that is meaningful and useful to our Salespeople and our customers.This role is your ticket to the digital data world and places you at the forefront of working with the world’s leading data technology platforms – Adobe and Salesforce.   • Build and manage audience segments across Nine’s Digital network, utilising our Adobe Experience Platform.
  • Work on data onboarding projects with the wider team (ad servers, SSPs).
  • Become a subject matter expert in Nine’s Data Products (Insights, Activation, Measurement), supporting the sales team and agency partners.
  • Develop presentation and articulation skills for audience recommendations and Data GTM materials.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data partnerships and training new sales people.
  • Collaborate with sales on Data Product solutions for client activations and briefs.
  • Build relationships across Nine to champion our Data Products, growing your career alongside industry experts.

QualificationsIdeally, you have experience leveraging consumer/member data in a commercial sales environment, effectively communicating its value to drive revenue. You’ll enjoy translating insights into results, optimising sales and customer revenue.This role suits someone hungry to learn, ambitious, and eager to build a career from the ground up at Australia’s largest locally owned media company.What we’re ideally looking for:

  • A recent university graduate with a marketing or commerce degree.
  • A confident self-starter who can thrive in a highly commercial, ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for learning and the ability to take ownership of your own development.
  • An interest in both the data/digital and media industries.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Capability to develop solid relationships with others, built on trust and credibility.
  • Capability to present data-driven insights effectively through in-person and online channels to internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and an understanding of the sales process.
  • Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
