Customer Marketing Manager

RELEX Solutions is looking for a marketer that’s passionate about customer storytelling to join the marketing team in the new role of customer marketing manager. The ideal candidate will be located in the UK or Finland.
This full-time role will be part of the communications team in marketing, serving as the central point of contact for all customer marketing activities and requests from our marketing team, and other teams within the organization. You will help identify and cultivate customer advocates, encouraging them to share their success stories, participate in reference activities and contribute to co-marketing opportunities.
You’ll work closely with our marketing team – from field, to content, to campaigns – to transition ad-hoc customer requests into holistic co-marketing strategies. You’ll also work collaboratively with additional stakeholders from sales, customer success and product marketing, to ensure all marketing requests to a customer are positioned to benefit the customer, with RELEX being an extension of their marketing efforts to help tell their digital transformation story.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage/Develop Customer Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with our customers, understanding their marketing needs while also aligning them with our marketing requests.
- Coordinate Marketing Requests: Partner with Marketing (Comms, Content, Field, Demand Gen), Sales, Customer Success, to field all requests across the customer journey for use in our internal and external initiatives.
- Centralize Reference Activities: Serve as liaison to sales for prospect reference call requests to ensure we offer the right customer for the right call and do not overuse any one customer for this purpose.
- Build/Manage Customer Appreciation Program: Formulate and drive appreciation program which rewards and incentivizes customers to participate in marketing activities with us.
- Build Customer Co-Marketing Plans: Collaborate closely with customers and the relevant marketing owner to plan, execute, and track co-marketing initiatives, including events, webinars, media interviews, case studies, and speaking opportunities.
- Develop a Speaker Bureau: Develop a speaker bureau recruiting our customer champions to speak at our events, and external industry events supporting a variety of field marketing initiatives.
- Support Customer-driven Events: Assist in communicating with customers for select customer-centric events, to ensure the customer is fully supported throughout the process, from preparing them to speak, working with them on their presentation materials, and any logistics support needed.
- Community Liaison: Serve as a connection to the RELEX community team, aligning on how to integrate into wider marketing activities and e.g. leveraging community content in external marketing and vice versa.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on communications, marketing and business.
- 5-6 years of marketing experience, preferably customer marketing experience.
- Strong project management skills, with ability to set, communicate, and meet clear deadlines.
- Experience building and/or evolving customer reference programs.
- Strong affinity for working in collaboration with customers to understand their unique challenges and goals, and to partner closely to make them successful.
- Ability to quickly learn, navigate and collaborate across various internal teams.

- Experience in understanding retail and supply chain planning, or similar.
