About the role and about You:
We are seeking an experienced CRM Marketing Specialist to execute marketing strategies and automations that drive user engagement and growth. You will also be responsible for implementing, and maintaining marketing campaigns that drive user engagement, convert users to subscribers and mitigate churn. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the business to optimize email and mobile messaging campaigns, and track performance metrics; optimizing all our efforts through A/B testing along the way. Our ideal candidate is operational with some experience or interest in strategy – having experience crafting user journeys and building automated workflows.
What you’ll do:
- Build, test, QA and deploy CRM campaigns using Iterable, Litmus, Jira and other internal tools.
- Build, test and manage audience segmentation lists using Iterable, Periscope and other internal tools.
- Coordinate and collaborate across the organization with the creative, marketing, product localization, data, and other teams to execute on high visibility campaigns.
- Troubleshoot and QA issues as needed with new and existing campaigns.
- Continually monitor and optimize campaigns for maximum performance and conversion rates.
- Support email leads by pulling initial sizing of audience segments to help finalize campaign targeting specs.
- Drive engagement and retention strategies by identifying/analyzing customer segments and collecting insights based on past behavioral data.
- Develop a reporting cadence on performance, and optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, registration and engagement, and set up test plans to improve campaign performance.
- Stay up-to-date with email marketing best practices and Iterable capabilities.
What we’re looking for:
- 5 years related experience in email marketing and/or mobile marketing/advertising, ideally in a subscription business.
- Intermediate experience with the Iterable platform to build, test, deploy, and track campaigns.
- This is a hands-on technical implementation position focused on the technical build of emails, push notifications and in-app messages.
- Detail oriented and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Experience creating and managing audience segmentation lists, SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Demonstrable knowledge of best practices and orchestration across different channels, including email, push notifications, and in-app modals.
- Undeniably results driven and analytical in nature, you are passionate about testing and monitoring results over time.
- Experience setting up automated marketing communication.
- Willingness to learn A/B testing best practices and analyzing marketing campaigns.
- Experience creating and managing push and in-app campaigns is a plus.
- Willingness to approach projects with a can-do attitude and create processes where there isn’t one.

For All US Based Full-Time Positions:
The base salary for this position ranges between $74,000 – $99,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual’s job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
