Description

The Brand Innovation Lab team (BIL) is the internal group within Amazon that builds upper-funnel brand awareness campaigns and activations for global advertisers across every vertical and industry. Using all of the different platforms within the Amazon canvas, we create campaigns that reach millions of Amazon customers across our digital channels and out in the real-world.

As a copywriter on the Brand Innovation Lab team, you’ll be creating one-of-a-kind advertising campaigns for a wide range of global brands. You’ll partner with art directors, designers, program managers and developers to create innovative work leveraging the full Amazon canvas (Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, Amazon Music, etc). You’ll lead projects and own client relationships, focusing on creating work that benefits the end customer while pushing the creative envelope. And with new tech rolling out all the time, there’s always an opportunity to create something innovative on of our clients.

Typical Day In The Role

Concept, write and execute innovative ad campaigns (online and offline) for global brands

  • Own end-to-end writing of pitch decks and RFP responses, crafting dramatic and compelling narratives
  • Partner with art directors, designers, program managers, and developers to create customer-focused solutions that deliver on advertiser objectives
  • Independently lead campaigns and collaborate with internal teams, clients and external agency partners
  • Create campaigns through exceptional writing skills that attracts, retains, and grows an audience
  • Showcase being data-driven and obsessed with understanding customers and making work that delivers results
  • Present ideas and concepts to clients, agencies and internally
  • Proven ability to ideate for film, print, digital, out-of-home, experiential and social, and write both short and long copy, including editorials when required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to make aggressive deadlines
