Position Summary
Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking applicants for a Communications, Marketing, and Outreach Specialist. This position leads the development and execution of the overall strategy for communications, marketing, and engagement efforts for the College of Aerospace, Computing, Engineering, and Design (CACED). The Communications, Marketing, and Outreach Specialist oversees the design, coordination, development, production and distribution of print, video, digital and promotional materials to support CACED’s departments and programs, degrees, certificates, and events. This position is responsible for effectively and consistently communicating the CACED message, including through social media and digital engagement. This role supports and coordinates the communication and marketing efforts of CACED departments and programs and serves as the liaison between CACED and University Communications and Marketing. The position also assists with the communication and marketing of strategic initiatives and new programs in CACED.
MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, where nearly 60% are first generation and over 55% are students of color. Located in downtown Denver, we are a designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), an INSIGHT into Diversity Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award winner for 10 consecutive years, and the only Seal of Excelencia certified institution in Colorado. Salary for Announcement
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, training, and qualifications.
