Are you someone who cares about people and wants to help make a difference in the lives of Saskatchewan people? The Ministry of Social Services is looking for a respectful, reflective, creative, strategic and motivated communications professional with marketing experience to join our team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Public Relations, this position will primarily develop communication strategies and materials that help people in greatest housing need in our province. This will include communication and marketing support for the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation and housing events and announcements. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and versatile communicator focused on building connections and understanding across a variety of mediums, including print, online, visual and multimedia. The position also assists with media monitoring and some media inquiries.

Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would have been gained through a post-secondary education in communications, journalism, marketing, English or public relations. A combination of education in a comparable field and experience may also be considered.
