  • This role is primarily responsible for leading the development of strategic planning for the portfolio, channel strategy and prioritisation.
  • You will achieve this through applying your commercial acumen in understanding and maximising shopper insights in the development of category strategies for execution in our customers.
  • Flexing your ability to analyse market, customer and shopper data, you will develop strategies based on category and shopper understanding that will see growth through leadership with our major customers.
  • Building relationships at all levels within our business and leverage support for your strategic direction of the portfolio.
  • Working closely with Marketing teams, Sales Team, Finance, and Supply to lead, shape and drive portfolio recommendations.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Ideally to succeed in this position is previous sales or category experience in the grocery channel and extensive commercial capability.
  • You will have demonstrated strategic business planning & implementation skills and have a strong financial acumen.
  • A high-level understanding of the commercial planning process, involvement in the successful execution of sales plans, and experience with data analytics, using Circana, JDA, and other sources of databases
  • A solid understanding of insight, trends and implications that can be applied internally and externally.
  • The ability to influence cross-functional teams, and strong collaboration is a must.
  • Passion to drive growth, category leadership and a desire to celebrate success
