Main Duties
Under the guidance of the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR, this position supports the implementation and execution of the strategic marketing and communications goals of the cluster hotels; Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong – MGallery, Avista Grande Phuket Karon – MGallery, and Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort & Spa
Working in Partnership with the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR, takes ownership of key activities including:
- Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) & CRM Marketing & Management (Revinate)
- Hotel Upselling Tool Marketing & Management (Nor1)
- Online Reservation-Based Guest Communications Through Chat Bot, Whatsapp, Line, Messenger, IG Direct Message
- Online Content Audit & Management (Brand.Com, Microsite, OTA Channels & Third-Party Websites)
- Partner Co-Promotions Management & Implementation
- Online & In-Hotel Rooms, F&B And Spa Promotions
- Pre-arrival and On Property support for Public Relations & Influencer/Blogger Management
- Collateral And Marketing Administrative Duties
- Video And Photoshoot Management
- Media Kit & Asset Library Management
- Creates & Updates Hotel Sales Materials & Presentations.
Effectively executes all marketing activities and operations so as to maximize hotel revenue and positive exposure in local, national and international markets.
Manages the development and production of a wide range of resort collateral, communications and promotional materials to maintain the brand image in adherence to company and hotel policies & procedures and in alignment with hotel positioning and key messages across all marketing channels.
Ensures effective and efficient day-to-day communications both internally in conjunction with Human Resources and externally with the hotel’s marketing partners.
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Digital Marketing:
In Partnership with the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR and Cluster Digital Marketing Manager:
- Routinely audits, manages and maintains content on: hotel websites, Tripadvisor, OTA’s, metasearch engines, and other relevant sites to ensure the right content and pictures are displayed.
- Supports the digital marketing team by providing hotel specific information, assets and content for all digital channels as necessary, ensuring content aligns with the Accor brand and hotel identity, positioning and messaging.
- Responsible for the scheduled production of electronic direct mails (EDM) to target audiences including: content creation, EDM deployment, CRM database management & maintenance and performance reporting for all email marketing campaigns as per the marketing communications plan
- Develops, maintains, and leverages brand communication channels, such as the Nor1 upselling tool, to boost incremental revenues and elevate the guest experience

- Supports local marketing activities and develops relationships with relevant third parties to deliver the business objectives for the resort’s restaurants, bars and spa
- Maintains hotel media kit, marketing materials and photo library and ensures timely distribution to all media, clients, colleagues and guests as required.
- Responsible for monitoring of all social media channel comments, messages, tagged posts, chat bot, Whatsapp, Line and for ensuring all reservation-based information, whether for rooms, F&B and Spa are handled in a timely fashion.
- Routine audits of uploaded content on social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok and other channels as needed, to ensure all photo and video content is included and outdated content is removed.
Media / Influencer / KOL Marketing:
- Ensures maximum exposure is obtained for the resort and all facilities, outlets, activities, functions, promotions and programs etc
- Researches, qualifies, develops and maintains active contacts with influencers/media/KOL’s and evaluates all media solicitations and opportunities for the hotel in line with marketing strategy and advertising needs.
- Obtains initial approval of influencer/media/KOL campaign proposals from the Cluster Digital Marketing Manager and Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR
- Supports the Cluster Digital Marketing Manager in coordinating and handling all media accommodation requests, internal arrangements and meet and greet for media, influencers, bloggers and KOL’s on assignment at the cluster hotels
Photography and Videography:
- Manages all onsite and destination photography and videography assignments under the guidance of the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR
- Coordinates with the Social Media Executive and HR teams to make arrangements for photography/videography of Heartist events and CSR activities for social media and PR purposes.
Hotel Advertising & Collateral:
- In partnership with the hotel Graphic Designers and under the guidance of the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR, uses written and presentation skills to assist with the creation of a wide range of resort collateral, communications, promotional materials and sales presentations.
- Ensures all hotel advertising and collateral are of consistent high standards, and that they comply with Accors International’s brand standards.
Marketing:
- Assists where necessary the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR in all areas related to hotel marketing activities
- Maximizes use of the targeted market information including customer profile, behavior, and yield for the planning and evaluation of marketing communications
- Establishes and develops good community contacts among government, businesses, associations, etc. and represent the hotel at public functions.
- To support ad-hoc events and projects in the community (such as CSR)
- Prepares and submits the bi-weekly marketing activity report in a timely manner.
Financial:
- Maintains complete records of all media and purchase agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel and keeps up to date records of marketing expenditures, future commitments and remaining budget for the year
- Assists in managing costs based on key performance indicators
- Ensures that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information
Operational:
- Closely works together with other departments to assess and support their internal and external
communications needs.
- Arranges media site inspections under the guidance of the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR.
General:
- Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules & Regulations established in the Associate
Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
- Reports for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times
- Maintains a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
- Maintains a good rapport and working relationship with associates in the department and
colleagues in all other departments
- Attends and contributes to all associate meetings, departmental and hotel trainings scheduled and
other related activities
- Fully supports the departmental training function
- Undertakes any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR
- Projects at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercises self-control
- Has a complete understanding of the Income Audit Section in the Operations Manual and Policies
& Procedures
- Provides a courteous and professional service at all times
- Attends all meetings as required by Hotel Management.
Administration
- Keeps office environment clean and neat and ensures that an efficient and accurate electronic
filing system is maintained at all times for marketing communications assets and records, as
opposed to using box files unless otherwise required by hotel and company policies
Other Duties:
- Maintains strong, professional relationships with the relevant representatives from competitor
hotels and other organizations
- Responds to changes in the Marketing Communications function as dictated by the industry,
company and hotel
- Carries out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of operating equipment.
- Undertakes any other reasonable duties as requested Cluster Director of Marketing, Digital & PR, Cluster Digital Marketing Manager & Hotel Management.
Work Experience
Experience and skills:
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major and 2 years’ experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience preferred
OR
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience preferred.
- Has genuine interest in hospitality, life-style and marketing
- Strong network of connections is an asset, including media, bloggers, social influencers and industry partners
- Self-motivated, creative flair, eye for detail, up to date in life-style trends, secure on social platform
- Computer proficiency, skilled in digital marketing and social media software tools, graphic design tools and photo/video editing.
