THE ROLE:

The Cloud Marketing Operations Analyst will be responsible for building operational efficiencies for Data center marketing focused on cloud alliance marketing and run processes for the AMD marketing funding. The Analyst will implement and manage internal marketing budgets as well as partner funding programs with cross functional teams and interact directly with internal partners including Ops, finance, and regional teams.

THE PERSON:

The person will have the ability to lead sophisticated budgets and operationalize co-marketing agreements and needs to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheets and PowerPoint. The candidate will have strong business acumen and be able to coordinate cross-functionally with multiple teams within AMD. Strong organization skills and attention to detail are required. The individual should be results-driven with an emphasis on relationship building with a strategic focus to enable desired outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and supervise cloud partner co-marketing budgets – working cross-functionally with WW Marketers, Finance and Marketing Ops
  • Work and collaborate with AMD Global Account Management teams to help operationalize co-marketing programs designed to drive demand and sales velocity.
  • Open POs on behalf of budget owners for opex expenses and monitor/manage submissions of invoices and claims.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Ops team to run Cloud co-marketing budget reservations, claims and ensure alignment to contractual terms.
  • Set up new vendors, track POs to closure an ensure invoices are submitted within financial quarterly deadlines.
  • Deliver timely and relevant communications to Cloud Service Providers related to POs, proof of performance, proof of cost and/or any details relevant to resolve MDF related issues and help expedite payment.
  • Develop and/or contribute to budget and dashboard content for key BU and leadership reviews.
  • Strategically prioritize, allocate, manage, execute, and track partner marketing funds to support activities with highest potential ROI and revenue impact.
  • Deliver operational excellence by removing roadblocks from execution.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience at one or more Cloud Service Providers in marketing operations or finance
  • Technical and business acumen of data center computing with a strong understanding of B2B marketing concepts
  • Self-motivated and prepared to jump in and lead.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling ability in presentation formats and verbally
  • A proven track record of keeping projects on schedule and within budget
  • Background in marketing fundamentals (Budget and contract management experience)
  • Understanding of Cloud marketing and sales structure and their ways of operations
  • Experience in a customer-facing or account management role
  • Ability to meet challenging timelines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Thorough understanding of modern marketing practices, digital platforms, and trends
  • Creative problem solving and accountability.
  • Sharp, responsible, and highly organized
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
