Job description: Randox Australia Pty Ltd is Looking for a Clinical Services Operations Manager (CSO Manager) for a full time position. The CSO Manager will manage Randox Australia’s Service (Laboratories / Health) in providing services to hospital customers as well as a range of out-of-hospital health clinic services.KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Managing Randox Laboratories and Randox Health service including office, clinic, and laboratory management
2) Setting goals and managing procedures forand standards for clinical, administrative and sales staff
3) Managing and co-ordinating clinical services including phlebotomy, reporting, sample tracking, consultations
4) Reviewing, reporting to board and planning resources for clinic and laboratory including staff training and employment – interviewing and selecting new staff
5) Costing budget parameters, report preparation, expenditure on supplies, equipment, services and wider sales and marketing costs
6) Maintaining excellent relationships with other health providers regulatory bodies and public and private pathology boards and funding bodies to discuss areas of health service opportunities and coordination, including for tender processes
7) Advising key opinion leaders about measures to improve hospital and clinic pathology services
8) Representing the organization in negotiations, and at conventions, seminars, public hearings and forumsSKILLS REQUIRED:
1) Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
2) Demonstrable experience in the healthcare sector, preferably medical devices
3) Understanding of pathology and life sciences industry in Australia
4) Understanding of funding and reimbursement processes within Australia and New Zealand’s policy environment
5) Knowledge of the UK and ANZ Healthcare Systems
6) Knowledge of the industry Key Opinion Leaders and decision-makers in Australia
7) In country and international travel requirements of up to 50%.QUALFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1) Qualified to at least degree level in a Life Science or Business discipline.
2) At least 2 years’ experience in a business development leadership role
3) A high degree of self-motivation
4) This role is Sydney based so candidate must be located in Sydney or willing to relocate.
5) Advanced degree (MSc / MBA / MPH) or experience in Business Administration or Public Health
