We operate globally, and now need a seasoned operator who can turn strategy into disciplined, scalable execution.Why this role matters
Working directly with the Co-Founders, the COO is the organisational cornerstone: you will plan, organise, direct, control and review day-to-day operations while shaping the long-range plan. Every department – Product, Engineering, Revenue and People-will look to you for clarity, cadence and accountability.What you’ll be doing
Set policy, standards and objectives – Craft annual OKRs, service-level targets and governance frameworks.Direct daily operations – Run the weekly exec cadence, remove blockers and ensure we hit sprint, revenue and retention goals.Formulate and adjust strategy – Track market signals (e.g. ad-platform API changes) and redeploy resources to protect service continuity and fuel innovation.Allocate resources – Own P&L, capex and opex budgets; approve major vendor contracts, hiring plans and R&D spend.Lead cross-functional collaboration – Chair war-rooms for product launches, security incidents and enterprise deals; keep information flowing freely.Represent Blend AI externally – Negotiate with partners, brief investors and regulators, and speak at industry events.Prepare reports and forecasts – Deliver board packs on ARR, churn, burn and runway; maintain an 18-month rolling cash-flow forecast.Build and develop senior talent – Hire, mentor and succession-plan for VPs/Directors; run quarterly performance and compensation reviews.Oversee specialist corporate functions – Ensure best practice across FP&A, people ops, compliance and commercial contracts.What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or similar or at least five years’ senior-executive experience in a high-growth tech business.
Demonstrated success scaling a SaaS company.
Strong background in ad-tech, performance marketing or e-commerce enablement.
Experience with AI/ML product operations.
Mastery of data-driven decision-making: retention cohorts, LTV/CAC, unit economics.
Proven ability to build and lead distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Strong commercial acumen-skilled at negotiating enterprise contracts and raising capital.
