Job description: The Buying Manager for Furniture & Electronics in Dubai, UAE, plays a pivotal role in the procurement process, ensuring that the organization acquires high-quality products at competitive prices. The Buying Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring that the company’s product offerings remain relevant and appealing to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail buying, particularly within the furniture and electronics sectors, and will be adept at forecasting demand and managing budgets.Responsibilities: * Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences in the furniture and electronics sectors.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align product offerings with promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data to forecast demand and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market changes to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Prepare and present purchasing reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
  • Train and mentor junior buying staff to enhance team performance.
