• Drive seasonal business strategies based on brand positioning and customer demand
• Build a focused assortment plan and define product priorities for each season
• Prepare and manage the buying calendar, range planning, and product selection

Merchandise Planning & Selection

• Determine product range, quantity, and pricing in alignment with sell-through and margin targets
• Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market gaps to inform buying decisions
• Collaborate with the planning team to manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) effectively

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, freight, and promotional support with suppliers
• Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships aligned with brand values
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and timely deliveries

Performance Analysis & Market Insights

• Monitor weekly sales performance by category, range, and style
• Take in-season action to adjust buying quantities or delivery timing to meet demand
• Conduct market surveys, competitor analysis, and customer focus groups to refine future ranges

Visual Merchandising & Trend Alignment

• Align product strategy with in-store presentation, seasonal looks, and VM layouts
• Collaborate with marketing and VM teams to execute product campaigns
• Develop training sessions for frontline teams on seasonal trends and brand stories

Training & Product Knowledge

• Provide trend and product training to sales staff and visual teams
• Prepare seasonal buying reviews and present insights to the General Manager

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in fashion retail buying or merchandise planning
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer behavior
• Skilled in vendor negotiations, OTB planning, and product lifecycle management
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Passion for fashion trends and market movements
