We are currently seeking an adaptable, successful, and experienced Business Developer for our Partner Success Team in Prague. In this role, you will:Identify new opportunities with the largest, most strategic merchants, providing them with the resources needed to achieve their growth objectives, thereby helping Klarna become everyone’s favorite way to shop.Build and execute jointly agreed-upon business plans with partners or merchants to drive mutual growth and success.Work closely with internal analysts, delivery, and marketing teams at Klarna to drive enablement and lead generation activities.Identify new partnerships or business opportunities, pitch Klarna’s services, and close deals.Build strong relationships both at the executive level and on an individual basis.Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships, including C-suite executives.Conduct extensive market research to position Klarna optimally in the market.Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships.Deliver enhancements to existing brands and identify areas for improvement with key strategic partners.Identify and execute strategies to win new business.Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity.Play an important role in driving Klarna’s growth.Who You AreBased in PragueFluent in Czech and English at a full professional proficiency level4+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or SalesExperience in retail, payments, and/or e-commerceDemonstrates a strong passion for learning about and engaging with new culturesHighly driven with the desire to build a business from the ground upExcellent communication and organizational skillsClosingTo ensure fairness and maintain global market competitiveness, each role in a specific location has a set base salary.
