This role will focus on setting the strategy to successfully sell our suite of payment fraud prevention, account protection, and chargeback management solutions to enterprise-level clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a strong understanding of the fintech, payments, and/or risk landscape, and proven success in selling complex technology solutions. This role is an individual contributor role within the APAC Business Development and new business acquisition function.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand the client base in the APAC region with a strong focus on Australia and New Zealand markets.
  • Identify and target key enterprise clients across various industries, including e-commerce, financial services, retail, and travel.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Engage with fraud prevention, finance and payments leaders, including C-level executives, to understand their business needs and pain points related to fraud prevention, account protection and chargeback management functions.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

Solution Selling:

  • Work closely with prospective clients to identify their specific requirements and tailor our solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including solution consultants and subject matter owners to maximise sales outcomes for the business.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions in the market.

Contract Negotiation and Closing:

  • Lead the negotiation and closing of complex sales contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and the company.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.

Marketing and Sales Operations:

  • Working closely with the Head of Business Development, APAC, we attend relevant conferences and events to maximize ROI, positioning Accertify as the leading vendor in the fraud prevention space.
  • Ensure CRM is up to date, efficient lead management, reporting, and adherence to the agreed sales methodology to drive consistency, productivity, and data-driven decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the fintech, payments, or fraud prevention industry.
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex technology solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Success in entering new market segments to drive new sales and customers.
  • Understanding of payment fraud prevention, account protection and chargeback management solutions will be seen as an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed.
