What you’ll do

As Brand Lead you will support the development of brand strategy and lead the implementation of tactics through leadership of the cross-functional team.

Developing external strategy and commercial interactions with key customer groups within the particular therapeutic area, including clinical, government, national and regional payer groups to deliver positive outcomes.

Working with key internal partners from Payer Evidence, Medical, Account Management, Senior Management and other Therapeutic Area teams, you will lead strategic planning for patient access (Value story/propositions) and communicate accordingly. The Brand Lead is responsible for the delivery of sales and customer value within defined resources. Accountable for all deliverables for the brand including driving practice change at scale, developing the single brand plan tactical execution and activation.

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for and owns the single brand plan and leads the brand planning process
  • Leads the XF team (including IBEX, Medical, Policy, Access, Compliance, Finance)
  • Responsible and leads the process and inputs required for LRP and other business planning cycles
  • Ensures omnichannel is embedded into the brand plan and planning process
  • External engagement with key stakeholders, influencers and decision makers
  • Uses insights and performance data to ensure strategic decision making is informed and agile to market shifts

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Significant pharmaceutical commercial experience with a strong performance track record
  • Strong marketing leadership with a successful track record of growing market share
  • Preparing for and successfully launching new products and brands
  • Creative marketing capabilities together with rigorous commercial business sense
  • Degree qualified, ideally with additional post-graduate qualification such as an MBA
  • It is mandatory for the performance of this role to hold or successfully acquire Nominated Signatory status. You are required to gain Nominated Signatory status within 6 months of commencing your role. You are also required to pass re-validation testing every 12-24 months or as required.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Good experience of the UK market, with its unique NHS system
  • Sales management experience
