This role offers a unique opportunity to blend communications expertise with patient engagement, directly impacting global health outcomes!Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Develop and execute impactful communication strategies aligned with business prioritiesCraft compelling content across various platforms, including press releases and social mediaBuild and nurture relationships with patient advocacy groups to enhance access and understandingIntegrate patient perspectives into strategic planning processesCoordinate patient engagement activities, ensuring meaningful involvement in key initiativesGuide Novartis employees on patient communication best practices and ethical standardsManage agencies and campaign budgets to achieve outstanding resultsAnalyze and measure the effectiveness of communication and advocacy effortsEssential Requirements:Substantial experience in-house or in agency settingsDegree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field with medical backgroundProven track record developing strategic communication plans in complex environments as well as expertise in patient advocacy principles, best practices, and regulatory considerationsExceptional written and verbal skills, able to translate complex scientific concepts paired with strong relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in digital channels and social media for patient engagementAnalytical mindset to measure and improve communication impact, adaptable problem-solver with a proactive, curious approach to challengesFluency in German and English (written and spoken)Why Novartis?Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives and our vision is to become the most valued and trusted medicines company in the world. For this position the minimum salary is €65,605.54 /year (on a full-time basis).
