Indigo is seeking an experienced marketing or product management professional to help drive the growth of our biological products. You should have strong experience in and knowledge of the row crop inputs market. You will contribute to product positioning and messaging, content creation, product launches, and marketing initiatives for Indigo’s fast-growing biological products that help protect crops and increase yield. Working with a talented and motivated team, you will assist in defining and executing product marketing initiatives that enable Indigo to hit ambitious customer and revenue targets.
This is a contract position that will last until 12/31/23 and will work up to 40 hours per week.
What You’ll Do
- Positioning and Messaging – Develop and evolve the product and portfolio messaging that brings our biological products to life; you will shape and inspire the industry’s perception of our value
- Content Creation – Build compelling content based on your understanding of ag retailers / seed dealers and farmers; you will apply your love of writing, storytelling, and evangelizing
- Product Launch – Contribute to product launch execution; your market-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration will help us achieve faster growth and greater market success
- Sales and Partner Enablement – Educate field teams and partners on our market, value proposition, and product capabilities and help develop associated sales tools; you will celebrate our sales success because you’ll be an integral part of that success
What You’ll Bring
- Marketing or product management experience in crop inputs for row crops
- Biological crop inputs experience a strong plus, but not required
- You excel at communicating complex products and concepts effectively and artfully to non-technical audiences
- Your written and oral communication skills are outstanding; you enjoy writing and communicating and have excellent attention to detail
- You possess excellent inter-personal skills and successfully build relationships with distributed colleagues and third parties
- You are self driven and highly productive
- You have the ability to travel up to 10% (this position may or may not require travel; any travel would be only within the US)

Pay Transparency Statement
Indigo is committed to competitive and equitable pay for all employees. The listed pay range for this role is a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position. Compensation offered will be determined based on several factors including an individual’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
Benefits Statement
All regular, full-time, permanent employees who work 30 hours or more each week are eligible to enroll in Indigo’s benefits. Additionally, all full-time employees and some part-time employees are eligible for paid time off as outlined above. Based on their role, employees may also be eligible to receive long-term equity incentives and annual cash incentives.
