Associate Marketing Manager

As an Associate Marketing Manager, you will support planning and leading the execution of activations to help PPG Architectural Coatings’ brands gain share and grow in their channels across Canada. You will be driving PPG product adoption throughout buying groups and independent dealers with the focus on growing the SICO brand. You will report to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the main marketing contact for Dealer Field Sales team and Buying Groups Account team.
• Collaborate with the SICO brand manager, PPG product marketing teams, PPG field sales team, account teams, CRM teams and other teams to ensure delivery/execution of marketing plans.
• Be the main external contact for the Buying Group and dealers’ marketing departments.
• Manage weekly customer calls and develop quarterly business review/planning presentations.
• Lead execution of brand activations within the channel, and channel-specific activations, in-store and online, including product launches, national promotions, flyer activations, etc.
• Improve marketing activations with Buying Groups and dealers, through deep knowledge and understanding of our customers’ merchandising policies and communication platforms.
• Support SKU, product set-up activities, and the creation and roll out of tailored marketing elements suitable for each retailer and store format.
• Generate insights by analysing and measuring the success of campaigns and promotions.
• Engage with the development of impactful strategies, based on shopper insights that will be used for product innovation and repositioning initiatives, assortment decisions, merchandising, and collateral.
• Support marketing leadership in projects requiring additional resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of marketing experience; B2B marketing and/or retail marketing experience in the Home Improvement industry is a strong asset.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in marketing or related field is required.
• Possesses strong communication and presentation skills; Bilingualism in French and English is a requirement.
