As an Associate Manager, you will lead a team of seven logistics professionals while overseeing global and national shipping operations for components, APIs, and hazardous goods. Your responsibilities will include leading a team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing processes through LEAN methodologies, and managing relationships with various stakeholders, such as warehouses, freight forwarders, and 4PL partners.In this role, you will drive operational efficiency, mitigate delivery risks, and support cost-saving initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure seamless transportation routes for production sites and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). Strong leadership, effective collaboration, and adept change management will be crucial to achieving success in this position.This position is pivotal in ensuring the seamless transportation of goods across national and international production sites while adhering to stringent compliance standards, especially for specialized shipments like hazardous goods. If you have leadership experience, a strong background in logistics, and the drive to optimize processes, this is the ideal role for you.The current location of the position is in Bagsværd, but the department will move to Taastrup later this year.Qualifications

About the departmentThe Global Distribution department plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across global and national production sites. This team is responsible for overseeing shipping operations for components, APIs, and hazardous materials while adhering to stringent regulatory standards.The department manages relationships with freight forwarders, warehouses, and 4PL partners to ensure seamless logistics processes and reliable transportation routes. It also focuses on optimizing workflows through LEAN methodologies, mitigating risks in delivery, and supporting cost-saving initiatives.
