Major/Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute targeted enrollment marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, leveraging automation, dynamic content, and personalization strategies.
  • Lead the integration and optimization of Salesforce CRM data for Marketing Cloud, ensuring segmentation, list hygiene, and compliance with university and industry standards.
  • Utilize SQL, AMPscript, and HTML to create advanced data queries, segmentation strategies, and personalized messaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment Management, the Graduate School, and Texas Tech Online to define marketing strategies that support recruitment and enrollment goals for undergraduate, graduate, and online students.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Cloud Technical Specialist to ensure proper configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of marketing automation processes.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams and campus partners to align messaging, improve communication strategies, and ensure a seamless experience for prospective students.
  • Analyze campaign performance, student engagement data, and conversion metrics to optimize marketing efforts and improve ROI.
  • Monitor email deliverability, database hygiene, subscription management, and compliance with university policies on opt-in/out, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy regulations.
  • In partnership with the Marketing Cloud Technical Specialist, troubleshoot system issues, automation failures, and data integration inconsistencies between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.
  • Lead A/B testing, deployment strategies, and reporting efforts to refine marketing effectiveness and ensure best practices in digital engagement.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on Marketing Cloud capabilities, CRM data utilization, and marketing best practices.
  • Develop documentation, workflows, and knowledge resources to enhance efficiency and continuity in enrollment marketing operations.
