Job description: Assistant Boutique Manager – High-End Jewellery RetailPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and service-driven Assistant Boutique Manager to support the leadership of a high-end jewellery boutique. This role is pivotal in driving sales, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Acting as a brand ambassador, you’ll uphold luxury standards and operational excellence while helping to foster a supportive and results-focused culture.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client ExperienceLead by example in delivering premium customer serviceDrive sales, upselling, and CRM follow-up initiativesMaintain accurate client records and ensure timely client communicationTeam LeadershipSupport training, development, and performance coachingContribute to a motivated, accountable, and well-supported teamAssist with onboarding and ongoing development of team membersOperations & ComplianceOversee daily operations, end-of-day processes, and reportingMaintain boutique rosters, diaries, and checklist complianceMonitor store expenses and contribute to budget controlVisual MerchandisingEnsure boutique meets brand visual standardsSupport product launches and promotional activityMaintain showroom presentation and stock displaysWHS & SecurityEnsure adherence to all safety and security protocolsReport maintenance and compliance issues promptlySupport completion of team WHS and compliance trainingInternal CoordinationLiaise with internal departments including marketing and operationsBuild strong relationships with suppliers and centre managementRepresent the brand professionally in all interactionsWhat You’ll BringAt least 2 years of retail leadership experienceStrong communication and team development skillsProven success in a sales-focused, customer-facing roleHigh attention to detail and professional presentationAbility to interpret sales reports and meet business targetsDesirable: Experience in luxury or jewellery retail, and familiarity with CRM, POS, or repair/service systems.For more information please email Pauline on pauline.stephens@empiregroup.com.au
