The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching some combination of digital marketing and analytics, supply chain management, and other marketing courses as required. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, contributing to student growth and development (e.g. involvement with student organizations, advising/mentoring), scholarly research or achievement, collaboration with business and industry partners and service to the department, college, university, and region.

College of Business Demographics
The College of Business at Minnesota State University, Mankato is an accredited member of AACSB International since 1997 and houses the departments of Accounting and Business Law, Finance, Management and Entrepreneurship, and Marketing and International Business as well as the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. One of the largest business schools in the regions, each year over 2,000 students enroll in bachelor programs and short-program certificates including those in Accounting, Agribusiness and Food Innovation, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, International Business, Management and Marketing. The online Master of Accounting and MBA programs as well as the Tax and Business Leadership graduate certificates are growing and providing a new level of access and relevancy for adult learners. Business minors in areas such as entrepreneurship and innovation, business administration, business law, financial planning, human resource management, and marketing are among the most popular at the University. The College’s vision to be the clear business school choice for real-world learning means it prioritizes partnerships with companies, communities, high schools, two-year colleges and international programs. Much of the curriculum is situated around experience-based and technologically-enhanced initiatives. Signature programs supported by alumni, friends and company partners like the United Prairie Bank Integrated Business Experience, Maverick Fund, Big Ideas Challenge, Henze Ag Innovators, Stangler Internship Initiative and 15+ recognized student organizations provide students with exceptional experiences. The College has over 21,000 alumni who mentor, network and provide professional opportunities in collaboration with faculty and staff. We seek to add diverse faculty and staff to the College of Business team who are passionate about the University’s priorities.
Marketing and International Business
The Department of Marketing and International Business is housed in the AACSB accredited College of Business and serves over 550 marketing majors and 200 marketing minors. The Marketing program has been the 5th largest four-year degree granting program on campus over the last five years. Marketing currently has nine full-time faculty members. The Marketing program is expanding its sales curriculum with a new certificate program in Professional selling that includes the offerings of Advanced Selling and Sales Internship courses that will commence in Fall 2023. The program also sponsors two registered student organizations that include the Marketing Club and more recently the Professional Sales Organization. The Marketing program offers a course in the Business Analytics program and recently added Social Media Marketing to the curriculum. In addition, Marketing faculty lead the annual study tour to New York City and biennial study tour to Belize.
