Aruba Channel Sales Intern (Placement year)

Support to Channel Sales team:

The Business development intern has the opportunity to support a team of experts focused on different customer segments and technologies in the Campus Edge Networking market.

The support include multiple different day to day activities from creating communications, reporting and analyzing data, arranging events to preparing pricing.

What you’ll do:

Support the channel Partner Business managers (PBM’s) and management in driving business across the full partner base. Managing standard role tasks but in addition ad hoc tasks/projects dependent on experience and areas of interest. Below are a few examples of the roles this year’s inter completes.

Sellout

Update the Sellout File 3x week to allow the Channel Team to track their partners sales.

Pull sellout reports when requested by the team using HPE software CSIS.

Prepare and maintain Bi-weekly Forecast document for team and attend Bi-weekly call.

Update Channel managed Report Bi-weekly.

Pull Pipeline reports for specific partners using Power-BI.

Channel Touch Point

Schedule quarterly Channel Touch Point calls.

Organize Presentation and speakers for Call and monitor engagement.

SalesForce

Manage quote Approvals on Salesforce.

Provide access to opportunities and quotes for the team.

Pull Spend Reports by accounts.

Planning

Ensure Master Alignments file is kept updated

Assist with Quota setting and implementation.

Compile and organize data for quarterly business reviews with Partners.

Other

Understand and utilize the HPE Aruba systems.

Integration with other Aruba interns – cross role systems support for holiday back up.

Help to manage one off events and partner sessions

The technology:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Locations:

  • Winnersh, UK

What you’ll need:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Sales/Marketing.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of 2023 for 13 months.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data.
