Analyst SEM

The SEM Analyst will be the in-house subject matter expert on SEM and will plan and implement all SEM activities for Bath Fitter. This role will work closely with the Digital and Media Manager and support the client-facing Account Success Managers. The SEM Analyst will be responsible for lead generation on paid search as well as the assessment, optimization and reporting of SEM performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for lead generation through paid search campaigns on Google & Bing; includes the planning, execution and optimization of all paid search campaigns for multiple business locations and segments.
  • Manage the bidding strategies and optimizations for CPC campaigns.
  • Optimize live SEM campaigns through A/B testing of creative, ad extensions and CPC bid management.
  • Manage budget pacing and maximize spend based on conversion and sales performance.
  • Ensure proper tracking and audience building throughout the campaign.
  • Monitor post-click performance through call & conversion tracking + back-end CRM performance.
  • Identify, establish and create dashboards for KPIs related to SEM. Run weekly and monthly performance reports with detail analyses and insights.
  • Provide keyword analysis for campaign ideation and to support Bath Fitter’s SEO efforts.
  • Work with IT partners to implement UTMs, along with changes to landing page, local page & home page.
  • Support client management team as required on location calls providing campaign and tactical insights.
  • Liaison with Campaign Coordinator to implement SEM campaigns ensuring, proper campaign tracking is setup.
  • Understand and stay up to date on SEM trends and best practices and identify opportunities to utilize within Bath Fitter ecosystem.

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in Business or Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years as an SEM Specialist, agency or client-side, responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of paid search campaigns
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Ads Certified
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Experience setting up an account, optimizing CPC and CPA, adding keywords and negative keywords and leveraging different tools to optimize performance.
  • Experience implementing tracking pixels (Google Tag Manager)
  • Experience setting up phone tracking is an asset
  • Experience with Bid Management Platform (DS3, Adobe, Kenshoo) is an asset
  • Experience with a CRM system or other data driven system.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google AdWords, Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
  • Expert knowledge of digital media buying platforms, bid management tools.
  • Advanced skill set in MS Office applications.Bilingualism, French and English (written and spoken); English is a must[1].

[1] Fluency in French and English is required as the employee will be working with employees in St-Eustache and Tennessee.
