Phase 1 of our Salesforce Education Cloud implementation is now under way, and we are growing the project team to maintain momentum and deliver genuine value for our learners and staff.The Agile Technical Business Analyst (BA) will be a key conduit between business stakeholders, solution architects, developers and testers. You will gather and translate complex business needs into clear, testable user stories and technical requirements, enabling multiple Agile squads to build high-value, student-centred capabilities across workstreams such as Marketing Cloud, Agentforce and the Phase 2 strategic roadmap.Key Responsibilities

  • Engage diverse stakeholder groups to elicit, refine and prioritise business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Produce high-quality artefacts-including user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, journey maps and storyboards-that provide absolute clarity for delivery teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and prototyping sessions, keeping discussions on-scope and outcome-focussed.
  • Support Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives) and champion iterative, incremental delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and developers on integration mappings, data transformation rules and system-level analysis for Salesforce and interfacing systems.
  • Contribute to System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring each story meets its definition of done and delivers expected value.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation that satisfies both business and technical audiences and aligns with ECU’s quality standards.

About You

  • Extensive BA experience – minimum seven (7) years in business analysis roles, with at least three (3) in Agile delivery environments.
  • Proven track record of working end-to-end across business and technical domains on complex software projects (full SDLC).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in process mapping, requirements management and user-story writing, coupled with excellent workshop-facilitation skills.
  • Solid exposure to system integrations and data-mapping activities.
  • Ability to design or critique UI/UX concepts and translate them into clear requirements.
  • High-level stakeholder-management and communication skills; able to set expectations, negotiate priorities and influence outcomes.
  • Proficiency with common Agile toolsets (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
