Account Executive – Pr/Marketing

My fantastic, friendly client, a PR Agency in Cheltenham is looking for a PR Account Executive to join their close-knit team while their list of exciting and varied clients and projects continues to grow.

To be successful in this position, you will ideally come from a B2B PR/Marketing either agency side or in-house. In return, you will benefit from a supportive team environment with approachable management, where the opportunities to develop your skills are encouraged.

Hybrid working available following training where you work up to 2 days from home pw if you wish.

Core Responsibilities

• Writing Press releases

• Press pitching including contacting journalists with press stories and feature topics as well as press office opportunities

• Byline writing

• Social media copywriting

• Posting/scheduling social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) and social media reporting

• Attend face to face/virtual/telephone meetings with clients, to understand their needs

• Aim to build long lasting professional relationships with journalists

• Be a daily of contact via telephone and email for clients alongside projects

• Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as required

Key Attributes

• Previous working PR/Marketing experience

• Client facing experience

• Social media savvy

• Time management skills

• Fantastic level of written and spoken English

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm + Hybrid working following training, where you work 2 days pw from home if you wish.

Salary: £23,000- £27,000 depending on experience
