About the Opportunity

As a vertical marketer, work directly with the municipalities of large cities all over the world. You be coordinating with police departments, IT professionals, and more.

In this role, you will plan and execute marketing plans targeted at specific vertical segments inside the large data storage market. These include areas such as municipal government, video post-production, and more! You will be researching new segments, developing customer profiles, creating informational content, executing campaigns and launching new product offerings

Job Duties:

• Promoting 45Drives proven solutions that are tailored to your specific vertical(s).
• Measure and monitor our success at developing business in your vertical(s).
• Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
• Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends.
• Visit and interview customers to understand their needs and how they see us
• Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
• Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
• Create videos and graphics
• Develop product collateral (postcards, brochures, etc.)
• Daily posts on the latest news, engage in social conversations and share internal company “happenings”
• Having fun while being creative with our awesome team of marketers!

Requirements

If you’ve got a bright, curious mind and a self-starter attitude, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for aptitude and attitude!

While it would be awesome if you had technical knowledge of large data storage and open-source software, it is definitely not required. We excel at training the subject matter and customer profile knowledge required for the job. You must bring the aptitude, attitude, hunger to succeed and willingness to learn.

We don’t expect (or want!) you to know everything, but you must have the maturity and clarity to understand that you will only learn more by asking questions and digging in. You should be unafraid to try things, and see what sticks.

• Post-secondary education (equivalent life experience works too!)
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in digital-marketing campaigns
• Love of learning about people and finding out what makes them tick
• Enjoy collaborating with others
• Passion for technology and innovation – you enjoy learning about what’s being developed in the world in order to advance humanity

About the Benefits:

This position offers an annual salary that will range between $40,000CAD and $60,000CAD (dependent upon education, and experience)
